I N M E M O R Y O F L O V E P A R T II

Greetings my lovelies,

I have refrained from writing, as you can probably observe, my posts are a bit scanty.(that word scanty crept into my vocabulary overnight and now I cannot stop using it). Anyway, I digress. I'm back in full effect and I'm remembering love. We have established from recent posts that this love at first sight notion is a farce, a decoy if you will. OK a decoy is perhaps extreme, but you can understand my meaning.Hopefully. A good friend of gave me insight into his opinion on love this week, not that I particularly wanted to hear it.

Y o u w i l l h a v e t o s i t d o w n f o r t h i s , o r b e t t e r y e t g r a b t w o s h o t s o f s m i r n o f f,or a bottle.

I will rehash the conversation to you so that your perplexity matches mine.

me:How is the search going for a wife ?

him: lol forget all that jus want my car

me:Christopher substituting a girl for a car

him: yh women are no longer needed.

I do not under any circumstances advocate reckless drinking, but D R I N K NOW.

Being a somewhat hapless romantic, I was truly stunned by his somewhat nonchalant demeanour.. Is it possible that our generation will end up miserable like that character from Dickens' Christmas Carol?

You guys do as you please, as for me I'm off to drown my sorrows in memory of love.

stay tipsy,

Signing out, miss_understood

I N M E M O R Y O F L O V E

it is the colour of light
the shape of of sound high in the evergreens
it lies suspending hills
a blue line in a red sky
I am looking at sound
I'm hearing the brightness of high bluffs and almond trees
I am tasting the wilderness of lakes, rivers and streams
caught in an angle of song
I am remembering water that glows in the dawn
the motion tumbled in earth
life hidden in mounds
I am dancing a bright beam of life
I am remembering love.
